Institut za lečenje i rehabilitaciju "Niška Banja" Preporučuje se za: Bolesti lokomotornog aparata, kardiovaskularne bolesti, stanja posle hirurške revaskularizacije mokarda, rehabilitacija bolesnika posle ugrađivanja endoproteze kuka i kolena, postraumatska stanja, stanja posle oštecenja centralnog i perifernog motornog neurona, zapaljenski i funkcionalni sterilitet. Prirodni lekoviti faktori: Niška Banja je prirodno lečilište, poznato još iz doba Rimskog carstva. Lekovitost i specifičnost joj daju radonske termomineralne vode i prirodan mineralni peloid. se obavlja na Institutu za prevenciju, lečenje i rehabilitaciju reumatičkih
i kardiovaskularnih bolesti "Niška Banja", koji predstavlja
savremenu zdravstveno-naučnu israživačku ustanovu iz oblasti reumatologije
i kardiologije, specijalizovane rehabolitacije, fizikalne medicine ortopedije.
Nastavna je baza Medicinskog fakulteta u Nišu. Prirodne
vrednosti u okolini: Niška Banja ima više terena za sportska takmičenja i rekreaciju: terene za fudbal,, rukomet i tenis, hipodrom sa rekreativnim jahanjem u zatvorenom i otvorenom prostoru, i kuglanu.
NISKA SPA LOCATION, CLIMATE, TRAFFIC LINKS Niska Spa is a small and quiet tourist place (spa) in the south-eastern part of Serbia. It is 10 km away from Nis, the second biggest town in Serbia, and 250 km away from the capital, Belgrade, situated on the international motorway to Sofia. The area of Niska Spa is characterized by a moderate continental climate which in the medical sense belongs to the category of soothing, sedating climates and is appropriate for medical treatment, rest and relaxation. You can reach the spa by the Belgrade-Nis motorway and the Belgrade-Nis-Skoplje railway. Natural curative factors Niska Spa is a natural health resort, well-known since the times of the Roman empire. Its healing effects and specific characteristics are due to radon thermo-mineral waters and natural mineral peloid. Medical indications Diseases of the loco-motor apparatus, cardio-vascular diseases, conditions after surgical revascularization of miocard, rehabilitation of patients after endoprosthesis of the hip and knee implants, post-traumatic conditions, injuries of the central and peripheral motor neuron, inflammations and inflammatory and functional sterility. Treatment Treatment is provided by the Institute for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic and cardio-vascular diseases "Nisak Banja". The "Niska Banja" institute is a modern health and scientific research centre in the area of rheumatology and cardiology, specialized rehabilitation, physical medicine and otrhopedics. It is the scientific base of the Medical Faculty of the University of Nis. The Institute has modern equipment for non-invasive diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic and cardio-vascular diseases, as well as contemporary equipment for surgical treatment in the domain of orthopedic surgery. Cultural, entertainment, sports and recreative programmes The facilities of Niska Spa are located in a nicely decorated park covering 5 hectares, with park-woods Koritnik in its vicinity, with arranged trim-courses. Niska Spa has numerous courts for sports competitions and recreation: football pitches, handball and tennis courts, a horse-racing track with indoor and outdoor recreative horse-riding programmes, and a bowling alley. The sightseeing tours of Nis, as well as visits to cultural and historical monuments of Mediana, Cele Tower, an 18th century fortress and restored buildings from the period of the Turkish rule, can be organized from the spa. Excursions to the near and far vicinity, visits to Kamenicki heights, the river Bojana's waters, Sicevacka gorge, are also organized.
