Načini lečenja: Proces rehabilitacije se vrši uz primenu različitih dijagnostičko-terapeutskih postupaka: kineziterapija, hidrokineziterapija (terapijski bazen), podvodna masaža, galvanska kada, lokalne i naizmenične kupke, a sve sa korišćenjem mineralne vode, terapija radom (zabavna i finkcionalna), elektroterapija (galvanizacija, EF lekova, dijadinamične i interferentne struje, elektrostimulacija KTD), fototerapija (IR, ultraviolet), ultrazvučna terapija, parafinoterapija, pelidoterapija, logopedski tretman itd. Prirodne vrednosti u okolini: Banja se nalazi na ravničarskom terenu, okružena je jezerom površine 4 km2, vinogradima, velikim zelenim pojasom parka i šume, a u blizini su Carska bara i jezero Ečka, poznato po lovnim i ribolovnim rezervatima. Kulturno-istorijski spomenici u okolini: U blizini banje se nalaze Zrenjanin i Bečej – gradovi bogati kulturnoistorijskim nasledem. RUSANDA SPA, MELENCI LOCATION, CLIMATE, TRAFFIC LINKS Rusanda Spa is is an active health resort in Banat,, located on the north coast of Rusanda lake and is part of the Melenci settlement in the municipality of Zrenjanin. You can reach the spa by the Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Kikinda or Novi Sad-Kikinda highways, or by railway. Natural curative factors The Rusanda Spa has a 130-year long tradition based on the utilisation of the curative effect of mineral peloid (mud) from Rusanda lake, which is considered one of the healthiest environments in our country. Furthermore, the specific characteristic of the spa is thermal water from a well, with a temperature of 32 degrees Celsius. Medical indications Diseases and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous systems (pareses and paralyses), inflammatory rheumatsim in early stages, degenerative rheumatism (arthrosis and spondylitis), extra-articular and metabolic rheumatism, discopathy and lumbal sciatica, consequences of traumas and bone breaks as well as surgical interventions on the bone and articular systems, skin diseases (psoriasis, chronic eczema, acne, etc.), gynecological illnesses (chronic non-specific gynecological illnesses and sterility). Treatment The rehabilitation process is developed through team work, by the use of different diagnostic-therapeutic techniques: kinesi-therapy, hydro-kinesi therapy (therapy pool), underwater massage, galvanic tubs, local and segmential baths, all by using mineral water, work therapy (entertainment and functional), electro-therapy (galvanization, EF medication, diadynamic and interferential electric currents, electro-stimualtion of the KTD, photo-therapy (IR and UV), ultra-sound therapy, paraffin therapy, peloid therapy (complete and local baths, mud wrappings, EF of the peloid), logopedic treatment, neuro-psychological intervention. Cultural, entertainment, sports and recreative programmes The programme for the development of the spa defines basic segments of the offer and the perspective for development and performance on the tourist market. The spa can enter the competition by forming an integral tourist offer with multiple aspects of selective tourism, some of which already have a long-lasting tradition and reputation on the tourist market: health, sightseeing, sports and recreational, hinting and fishing, entertainment and other branches of tourism. Rusanda Spa is situated on flat terrain, surrounded by a lake, vineyards, a large green park area and woods. The park is interspersed with asphalt paths for walking and recreation. In the vicinity of the spa there are a motel and football pitches, tennis and sports courts. Excursions to Becej, Becej stables, Carska bara national park and Ecka (well-known for rich hunting and fishing preserves) can be organized directly from the spa.
