Prirodne vrednosti u okolini: Ovu banju okružuju obronci planine Besne Kobile koja je bogata bujnom vegetacijom i pogodna za šetnje i izlete. U neposrednoj blizini je i Vlasinsko jezero. Kulturno-istorijski spomenici u okolini: Narodni muzej u Vranju, kuća Bore Stankovića, Harem luk, Beli Most itd.
VRANJSKA SPA LOCATION, CLIMATE, TRAFFIC LINKS Vranjska Spa is located in the south of Serbia, 12 km northeast of the town of Vranje. Vranjska Banja has a moderate continental climate, which is strongly affected by the mountainous region surrounding this tourist resort. The summers are very pleasant, with warm days and fresh evenings. The woody heights protect the spa from cold, strong winds. You can reach Vranjska Spa by the Belgrade-Skoplje motorway; it is 3 km away from the highway itself; by the Belgrade-Nis-Skoplje railway; the centre of the spa is 2 km away from the railway. Natural curative factors Vranjska Spa has many springs of mineral water, whose temperature is quite high, ranging from 94 to 110 degrees Celsius. Medical indications Diseases of the loco-motor apparatus, degenerative rheumatism, recuperative states after traumas, bone fracture and bone and joint surgery, neurological illnesses and gynecological diseases. The picturesque slopes of Besna Kobila are very pleasant for hiking in summer and skiing or sledging in winter. The spa's surroundings are offer a range of possibilities for hunting and fishing, as well as organized hiking or cycling tours. In Vranje one can visit many sites from centuries past: the City Museum, the home of Bora Stankovic, the Harem Arch, the White Bridge, etc. There are numerous possibilities for picnicking on Lake Vlasinsko and at Prohor Pcinjski monastery.
