Preporučuje se za: Sve oblike reumatskih oboljenja, postoperativna i posttreumatska stanja lokomotornog aparata i kičmenog stuba, oboljenja perifernog centralnog motornog neurona, bolni sindromi, rekovalescentna stanja, respiratorna i ginekološka oboljenja, migrenozna stanja, sportske povrede i opšte kondicioniranje organizma. Prirodni lekoviti faktori: Voda ove banje spada u grupu hipotermalnih voda sa širokim spektrom dejstva na ljudski organizam konstantne temperature od 32,5°C. Čist vazduh bez ikakvih zagađenja sa velikom koncentraciom ozona, ovu banju svrstava i u grupu vazdušnih banja. Načini lečenja: Zavod poseduje savremenu opremu za pružanje svih metoda fizikalne medicine i rehabilitacije. U kombinovanom fizikalno–akupunkturološkom tretmanu se postižu izvanredni rezultati. Prirodne vrednosti u okolini: Banja se nalazi u neposrednoj blizini nacionalnog parka Fruška Gora, koji ima izvanredne prirodne ambijentalne vrednosti. Kulturno-istorijski spomenici u okolini: U samoj banji se nalazi manastir Ravanica i Vrdnička kula – lokalitet iz rimskog doba. U okruženju se nalazi još 16 manastira koji svojom lepotom, značajem i vrednošcu kulturnog blaga privlače brojne goste. Sportsko–rekreativni sadržaji: Otvoreni olimpijski bazen, zatvoreni bazeni, saune i fudbalsko igralište.
VRDNIK SPA LOCATION, CLIMATE, TRAFFIC LINKS Vrdnik Spa is located in the middle region of Srem, at the foot of Mount Fruska Gora, and is part of the Fruska Gora National Park, at 210 m above sea level. It has a moderate conitinental climate with warm, sunny days. Because of its excellent exposition, Vrdnik has 2200 hours of sun per year. The characteristics of its climate are are also a very small quantity of rain and the absence of strong winds. The spa is 74 km away from Belgrade, 24 km away from Novi Sad and 20km away from Ruma. Natural curative factors Thermal water with a temperature constant of 32,5 degrees Celsius, which classifies it into hypothermal waters, with a wide spectre of influences on the human organism. Pure, unpolluted air with a large quantity of ozone classifies the spa into aerial spas. Medical indications All forms of rheumatic illnesses, post-operative and post-rheumatic conditions of the loco-motor apparatus and the spine, diseases of the peripheral central motor neuron, various painful syndromes, convalescense states, respiratiry and gynecological illnesses, migrainous states, deformities of the spine and joints, sport injuries, recreation and general conditioning of the organism. Treatment The Institute has modern equipment for practising all sorts of physical therapy and rehabilitation, under supervision of an expert team of specialist doctors and acupuncturalists. With its specialized physio-acupunctural treatment the spa has had exceptional results. Cultural, entertainment, sports and recreative programmes In the Vrdnik Spa itself there is the Ravanica monastery and the Vrdnik Tower (a site dating from Roman times). In the vicinity of the spa, on the slopes of Mount Fruska Gora, there are 16 monasteries which, with their beauty and cultural importance, attract numerous visitors. The visitors of the spa have the opportunity of using an outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pools, sauna, as well as a football pitch, which is in the near vicinity of the Institute.
